Posted Oct 17, 2010
UNC ended its Scott Stadium curse last night behind quarterback T.J. Yates and an alert defense with a dominating 44-10 win against Virginia. Yates fired three touchdown passes, all in the first half, and the defense intercepted five passes off three Virginia quarterbacks. The first three of the interceptions, all against Virginia starter Marc Verica, led to 17 points for UNC, two touchdowns and a field goal.
