Heels hung in after the half


UNC coach was a bit concerned at halftime of Saturday's game against Virginia. After the Tar Heels scored 20 straight points, the Cavaliers drove the length of the field and scored a touchdown to cut the score to 27-10 at the break. And after 29 winless years in Charlottesville that had featured many improbable Virginia comebacks, a 17-point advantage was not enough for UNC. (Durham Herald-Sun)
