Robert Quinn, No. 3 prospect in S.C., picks UNC

Fort Dorchester, S.C., defensive end Robert Quinn gave North Carolina a big signing day catch when he announced Wednesday morning that he will sign with the Tar Heels, a Fort Dorchester athletics official confirmed. Quinn (6-4, 255) overcame surgery for a brain tumor to remain a top recruit, ranked as the Observer's No. 3 prospect in South Carolina. (Charlotte Observer)
