UNC coach Butch Davis is 3-0 against the Hurricanes and his former assistant coach Randy Shannon. Davis, who was the ‘Canes’ coach from 1995-2000, downplayed his return to Miami when asked about it Monday. “It’s a huge challenge. Every time you play them…there hasn’t been a period of time in probably 25 years or so that they’re not physically gifted and really loaded with good players,” Davis said.
