Soon, Roy Williams will find out how much his prized 2010 freshman Harrison Barnes can handle. On Wednesday, Barnes was named the preseason rookie of the year with 46 of the 62 votes. Williams tempers his enthusiasm for Barnes, careful not to add any more pressure on him. But there's no denying that in Barnes, UNC has renewed hope. Said Williams, "He has a chance to be a special, special player." (Fayetteville Observer)
