Kendric Burney disappointed to miss another week

Butch Davis said Thursday it was disappointing Kendric Burney would not be able to play in Saturday's game at Miami (7:30 p.m., ESPN2). The cornerback originally was scheduled to return to the field against the Hurricanes after serving a six-game suspension for violating the NCAA agent benefits and preferential treatment rules but still has unresolved issues related to the ongoing investigations into agents and academics.
