Heels, Canes aim to step up

Butch Davis returns to south Florida today to lead the Tar Heels against Miami, a program he coached for six seasons in the 1990s. And even though Davis admitted today's contest (7:30 p.m., ESPN2) has a little bit more significance because he used to coach the Hurricanes, that storyline has worn off a bit after four years. Instead, Davis is more concerned about making sure UNC comes away with a victory.
