The last few weeks showed that the Tar Heels could overcome some of their player attrition issues. Zach Brown, for example, had done well filling in for Quan Sturdivant, who continues to deal with a hamstring injured at Rutgers. But on Saturday, everything seemed to catch up to Carolina. Injuries and suspensions, missed opportunities and turnovers, and a Top 25 opponent. It was simply too much, and things fell apart.
