Everett Golson softening on UNC commitment?
Posted Oct 26, 2010
It looks like Myrtle Beach quarterback Everett Golson is re-opening his recruitment a bit. Golson, who originally gave a verbal commitment to UNC earlier this year, is now keeping his options open given the Tar Heels' problems with the NCAA. The school is being investigated for its role in the recent agent contact scandal, and UNC coach Butch Davis is reportedly on the hot seat. "I'm still committed to North Carolina, but I need to have a backup plan because I don't know what's going to happen with their program," Golson told the BlueandGold.com earlier this month.
