Return of Kendric Burney a tad too late


Had returned to UNC’s lineup before last Saturday’s game at Miami, the outcome may have been different. But he certainly would have helped UNC cover the Hurricanes’ long and talented wide receivers, especially on patterns along the edges. A cornerback with a certain NFL future, Burney would have given Carolina needed gravitas at cornerback, instead of the team playing true freshmen on both edges. (Fox Sports Carolinas)
