William and Mary ready for strange late-season showdown at North Carolina

It's definitely odd. William and Mary, ranked as high as No. 3 in FCS play, travels to UNC on Saturday for a late-season matchup against an FBS foe that was supposed to be the teams' season opener. But when the Tar Heels got a chance to play LSU in Atlanta, the date against the Tribe was pushed back, leaving an out-of-conference, out-of-division game smack in the middle of William and Mary's playoff push.
