Tailback Johnny White rushed for a career-best 164 yards on 29 carries (also a career high), including a 67-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, his second long scoring run in as many games. His 76-yard touchdown run in the second quarter against Miami was the longest run of the season for Carolina and tied four others for the 20th-longest run in school history. (Tar Heel Blue)
