Terry Shankle Out for Season with ACL Tear

Tar Heel cornerback Terry Shankle sustained an ACL tear in his left knee during Saturday’s game against William & Mary. He will miss the rest of the season. Shankle is a redshirt freshman from Norwood. UNC football spokesman Kevin Best says Shankle will have surgery to repair the knee in the next few weeks. Shankle notched eight tackles on the year at cornerback.
