Kendric Burney 'still friends' with former player Chris Hawkins
Posted Nov 2, 2010
UNC cornerback Kendric Burney said Monday that former UNC player Chris Hawkins, who was deemed by the NCAA to be an agent, was just a friend and never steered the senior toward an agent. "It was a friendship that led into some allegations that never happened, but we're still friends," Burney said. "We've just got to stay our distance from each other. But like I said, during that whole process, it was all a friendship."
