Terry Shankle to miss rest of season

Veteran leader Kendric Burney returned to North Carolina's depleted secondary a week ago, but the Tar Heels lost another player in Saturday's 21-17 win over William & Mary. Freshman cornerback Terry Shankle tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the 21-17 win over William & Mary and will miss the rest of the season.
