Harrison Barnes is everybody’s All-American


became the first freshman ever to be named to the AP preseason All-American team. Voting on the AP preseason team began before the 1986-87 campaign. That’s a lot of expectation to be heaped upon any teenager’s shoulders, even shoulders as broad as those belonging to the 6-foot-8 Barnes. Too much, perhaps. But if there’s anyone that can handle the load, it’s Harrison. (Des Moines Register)
