When Johnny White has the ball, fans don’t need to see the runner’s jersey number to know who it is. It is unmistakable. His long black locks flap behind his helmet, covering his last name, and his powerful legs churn out at an incredibly fast rate despite a smaller-than-usual stride. And, with an opportunity he wasn’t sure would ever come again, White has become an elite running back. (Fox Sports South)
