Thorp stands behind Butch Davis

There is no evidence UNC Coach Butch Davis knew about or was involved in any of the agent or academic violations involving the football program Chancellor Holden Thorp said Thursday during a scheduled appearance in front of the Board of Governors Committee on University Governance. Thorp said the fact-finding portion of the investigations will soon conclude. (Durham Herald-Sun)
