Attention falls on Archie Goodwin
Posted Nov 6, 2010
“We had coaches from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Baylor, Nebraska, North Carolina, Kentucky, Marquette. Those are just the ones that come to me off the top of my head,’’ Bears boys basketball coach Kevin Davis said. “I believe the head coach has been here for every school and their assistants. Most have watched an entire practice.’’ The reason for all of the attention: ” 6-foot-5-inch junior guard Archie Goodwin. “He has handled it all well,’’ said Davis. “I have always been impressed with how he handles things. I know the coaches are the same way.’’
