College hoops recruiting: Early signing day arrives
Posted Nov 10, 2010
Wednesday is the first day of college basketball's early national signing period. And unlike college football's February frenzy, there will be few, if any, surprises. Of the Sporting News top 25 players, 23 have chosen their schools. Unless a player suddenly changes his mind, it should be a quiet, business-as-expected day. Cody Zeller plans his announcement Thursday, when he'll choose from Butler, Indiana or North Carolina. His brother, Tyler Zeller, plays for the Tar Heels, but there are indications that he might pick the Hoosiers.
