Signing day tradition: The rich get richer
Posted Nov 11, 2010
UNC had a successful day Wednesday with the signing a pair of top-20 players, including 6-8 power forward James McAdoo, a rugged low post player who briefly toyed with the idea of graduating a year early and playing for the Tar Heels this season. The other signee is 6-6 shooting guard P.J. Hairston, a long-range marksman in the mold of Wayne Ellington — only taller while 6-7 forward Jackson Simmons committed as a “preferred walk-on.” And coach Roy Williams still isn’t done.
