James McAdoo signs with UNC

National signing day is a big deal for athletes. But James McAdoo’s future coach might be more excited. When Norfolk Christian’s McAdoo, a 6-foot-8 star forward, officially signed with North Carolina on Wednesday, Tar Heels coach Roy Williams couldn’t say enough. “We are ecstatic to have James McAdoo in our basketball family at North Carolina,” Williams said by phone. “James is an incredibly gifted young man but even more so he’s a fantastic person off the court.” (Virginian-Pilot)
