Tyler Alberts will play in Oasis Classic football game

Tyler Alberts, a 6-8, 220-pound defensive end from Forsyth Country Day, has been selected to play in the Oasis All-Star Shrine Classic — the private-schools Shrine Bowl — scheduled Nov. 26 at Charlotte Country Day School. Alberts, in his first and only season of high-school football, had 15 sacks and 19 tackles for losses this season and has committed to play at North Carolina.
