Sitting in the empty Smith Center recently, UNC point guard Larry Drew II pointed to the rafters when asked his reaction about his Tar Heels notching the eighth spot in the preseason AP poll. "That [vote] is because of all of those jerseys up there," the junior said, referring to the roughly four dozen retired and honored names hanging above the upper deck. "Now, we have to earn it."
