Harrison Barnes ready to keep Tar Heel tradition alive

Harrison Barnes wasted no time Friday night in showing the North Carolina faithful what he could do on a basketball court. The newest “next great” Tar Heel, and first freshman ever named to the AP preseason first-team All-America team, converted the game’s first shot attempt just 12 seconds into UNC’s 80-66 season-opening victory over Lipscomb at the Dean Smith Center.
