Experience key to T.J. Yates' success

Why has North Carolina's quarterback T.J. Yates been so much better as a senior than he was last year as a junior? It's a question he has wrestled with himself as he enters today's home game against No. 16 Virginia Tech. In what has been a turbulent season for the Tar Heels (6-3, 3-2), Yates has emerged as perhaps both the ACC's most improved, and best, quarterback this year. (Charlotte Observer)
