DE Gimel President rising talent
Posted Nov 13, 2010
There's a reason why Gimel President didn't follow in his brother Jermel's footsteps as a basketball player. "You can hit people in football," said Gimel, a junior defensive end for the Wando Warriors. "I like hitting people." Jermel played point guard for the College of Charleston basketball team from 1996-99 and relied more on finesse, while Gimel is more physical at 6-4, 240 pounds. He's one of the top juniors in the state and already has offers from the University of South Carolina, North Carolina State and Maryland.
