UNC lands Florida DB Alex Dixon
Posted Nov 15, 2010
During an official visit-ending breakfast with the coaching staff on Sunday morning, Alex Dixon verbally committed to North Carolina. “I was just talking it over with my mom and checking out the campus with her and seeing what she thought, and I made the decision that I wanted to go there,” Dixon said. “I told Butch Davis, Coach [Everett] Withers, and pretty much all the coaches. It seemed like it was a surprise to them. They said I wouldn’t regret this and telling me congratulations and they’ll be waiting for me.”
