Posted Nov 15, 2010
After losing 26-10 to No. 16 Virginia Tech, the Tar Heels (6-4, 3-3) are out of the running for an Atlantic Coast Conference title. After a disappointing performance last week the Heels look ahead to Saturday’s game against N.C. State (7-3, 4-2). On Monday, UNC head football coach Butch Davis wasn’t subtle about what this rivalry game means to the team as he addressed the media.
