Devonte Brown will fill D-line need for UNC
Posted Nov 17, 2010
Devonte Brown, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive tackle, chose UNC over more than 25 other offers, although his final list featured Clemson, Florida, N.C. State and Tennessee. The commitment was a big one for the Tar Heels, who have some major needs to fill along the defensive line in recruiting with this class. Brown is regarded as one of the nation's top defensive tackle prospects. But before Brown committed, he received some reassurances from the UNC coaching staff regarding the current NCAA investigation.
