Butch Davis 'saddened and embarrassed' over UNC scandal

"I want to make it perfectly clear to everyone that I am saddened and embarrassed," head football coach Butch Davis told trustees during their board meeting. "I will do absolutely everything I can in my power to make sure these things don't happen again." Both Chancellor Holden Thorp and Director of Athletics Dick Baddour told the board that they are convinced Davis had no knowledge of the misconduct of some of his players. (WRAL Sports Fan)
