Deon Thompson sharpens his focus

UNC’s Deon Thompson has poured so much effort into sculpting his body that maybe now, to some degree, his development hinges more on mental conditioning. The sophomore forward stepped into a starting spot vacated by an NBA lottery pick, one that placed him opposite an All-American in the post, on a traditional powerhouse expected to compete for another national championship. Stressful? You bet.
