Preview: North Carolina vs. Minnesota

In a showdown of two stout defenses, the No. 8 North Carolina Tar Heels will take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPNU. Minnesota (3-0) is a very good offensive rebounding squad grabbing 37.3 percent of its misses, but UNC (2-0) will challenge them on the boards. In its last contest, Minnesota downed Western Kentucky 95-77. (Big Ten Network)
