Banged-up T.J. Yates has career-day in loss
Posted Nov 20, 2010
Beat up after being on the business end of seven sacks, UNC quarterback T.J. Yates needed an x-ray before meeting with the media after the Tar Heels' 29-25 loss to N.C. State on Saturday. The injury turned out to be only a sprain but the pain of a fourth straight loss to the Wolfpack stung the same to Yates, despite a record-setting performance. "That's what hurts the worst, I never got the better of them," Yates said.
