Danny Green Sr. was released from a medium-security prison in upstate New York [Monday afternoon]. He returned to his home on Long Island in time for dinner and a surprise. Unbeknownst to Green Sr., North Carolina coach Roy Williams had excused Danny Green Jr. from practice on Tuesday, allowing the Tar Heels' junior forward to catch a flight home late Monday.
