T.J. Yates copes with beating from N.C. State

UNC quarterback T.J. Yates had his left hand tightly wrapped in gauze Monday morning. He said otherwise, he’s fine. Just the usual bumps and bruises. But Yates’ Saturday saw the senior take more than his usual pounding. In UNC’s 29-25 loss to visiting N.C. State, Yates was sacked seven times. Making matters worse was the fact that many of the sacks came during crucial moments.
