Cougars fall short in bid to knock off Tar Heels again
Posted Nov 29, 2010
The College of Charleston's bid to win two straight against perennial national power North Carolina came up short Sunday as the No. 25-ranked Tar Heels scored a 74-69 win at the Dean E. Smith Center. The Cougars had a 50-45 lead with 12:54 left, but the Tar Heels went on a 16-6 run to help put away the Cougars and avenge last year's 82-79 overtime loss in Charleston.
