ATH T.J. Thorpe to sign with UNC Thursday

Durham Jordan athlete T.J. Thorpe is expected to sign a football scholarship with North Carolina on Thursday afternoon. Thorpe will hold a press conference at the school at 2:45 p.m. He will graduate from Jordan High School early to enroll in college for the spring semester. Thorpe’s last day at Jordan is Friday. The 6-foot, 180-pound Thorpe is a four-star prospect according to Rivals.com. He can play multiple positions, and played both sides of the ball for the Falcons. Thorpe is one of the most dangerous return mans in the area.
