T.J. Yates, Quenton Coples, Pete Mangum Named Team MVPs

UNC quarterback T.J. Yates, defensive tackle Quinton Coples and defensive back Pete Mangum were named the Tar Heels' Most Valuable Players at the 2010 senior football banquet Friday evening. Yates received a standing ovation after earning the team's offensive MVP honors. Yates became the first quarterback in UNC history to throw for more than 3,000 yard in a season and 9,000 in a career.
