The North Carolina Tar Heels welcome the Long Beach State 49ers to Chapel Hill tonight for a non-conference clash. Long Beach State carried a modest two-game win streak into Tuesday's clash with Utah State, but the 49ers were completely outclassed in an 81-52 defeat. That setback dropped the club to 5-5 overall, including 1-2 in true road games. (Charlotte Observer)
