Tar Heels survive pesky Long Beach St. 96-91

UNC point guard Larry Drew II insisted it was only a matter of time before his shot started falling. During Saturday’s 96-91 survival over Long Beach State, it finally fell at the right times. The junior scored a season-high 13 points on 6-for-7 shooting, including some key buckets down the stretch, to help overcome UNC’s defense-deficient effort at the Smith Center.
