Tar Heels football players to appeal eligibility status

The appeals for two North Carolina players declared permanently ineligible amid the NCAA investigation into the football program are scheduled for this week. Team spokesman Kevin Best said the appeal for defensive lineman Michael McAdoo is scheduled for today, while the appeal for fullback Devon Ramsay is Thursday. (Burlington Times News)
