Meanwhile, East, which reached the state semifinals last winter, is rated No. 2 in Class 4A behind Linn-Mar and junior guard Marcus Paige, who returned from an unofficial visit to the University of North Carolina on Sunday with a scholarship offer from the Tar Heels of Coach Roy Williams.
