SG Omar Calhoun enjoys UNC visit
Posted Dec 16, 2010
When he arrived at school Monday morning, Omar Calhoun had a better answer than most of his classmates to the what did you do this weekend question. The junior guard went on an unofficial visit to North Carolina with his father, Omar Sr. They toured the campus, spoke to the Roy Williams, his coaching staff and players and took in the Tar Heels 96-91 win against Long Beach State at the Dean Dome. “It was nice,” Calhoun told The Post. “I had a great time with the coaching staff. It was a great environment out there."
