LB Travis Hughes commits to UNC


Linebacker/running back committed to play football for UNC at a press conference held Saturday in his hometown of Virginia Beach, VA. Hughes is anticipated to play linebacker at UNC and is rated a 5-star prospect by Scout.com, a 4-stars by Rivals.com, and 3-stars by ESPN.com.

Hughes picked UNC over in-state ACC rival Virginia Tech and becomes the third linebacker in the class of 2011 to commit to UNC along with (Gastonia, NC, 4-star) and Christian Russell (Fayetteville, NC, 3-star).
