North Carolina starting forward John Henson sat out the second half Tuesday as a precaution, after his already bruised right thumb took a hard smack late in the first half. Coach Roy Williams said the thumb was "swollen and really painful," and that Henson would undergo more evaluation. Williams said the trainers think Henson only re-sprained the thumb.
