UNC's bowl is painful for Brian Gupton
Posted Dec 28, 2010
Brian Gupton, a former Pearl-Cohn standout, is in Nashville for Christmas break. UNC is here to play Tennessee in the Music City Bowl on Thursday. But Gupton, a junior safety for the Tar Heels, won't be playing. After being suspended earlier this season he is not allowed to practice with his team in Nashville, enjoy any of the festivities leading up to the bowl or even be on the sideline during the game. He will watch from the stands.
