Julius Randle looking to follow in Kobe's prep footsteps
Posted Dec 30, 2010
Julius Randle took the lead for Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX) with a game-high 24 points and 10 rebounds and a crowd-pleasing two-handed alley-oop dunk. He said afterward that he was driven to have a big game after learning about the history of the tournament. "My favorite player Kobe Bryant came through this tournament." As for the attention he's drawing from recruiters these days, the 6-foot-9 forward says he's enjoying the process and taking his time. He isn't leaning toward any school at this point.
