Heels hoping for triumphant end to troubled season

North Carolina will end its turbulent, stress-filled football season tonight, far short of anticipated gains but still playing in a bowl game against an old rival. UNC will play Tennessee in the Music City Bowl at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn., at 6:40 (ESPN). The Tar Heels will be seeking their first bowl victory in three tries under Coach Butch Davis and their first overall since 2001. (Winston-Salem Journal)
