Roy Williams comes to New Egypt to scout Desmond Hubert
Posted Jan 7, 2011
UNC coach Roy Williams was at Thursday night's New Egypt-Florence game, presumably to scout Warriors' center Desmond Hubert. New Egypt beat Florence 56-47. Hubert, a 6-foot-10 center, had 12 points, nine rebounds and eight blocked shots in front of the Tar Heels' coach. Williams made a special trip to see Hubert, since the Tar Heels did not have a scheduled game in this area. A week ago, Maryland coach Gary Williams was in New Egypt to check out Hubert.
